Neo Chemicals & Oxides (Europe) Ltd. Sales & Purchasing Administrator

Neo Chemicals & Oxides manufactures and distributes a broad range of advanced industrial materials that are the building blocks of many modern technologies.  From our production facilities in Asia and the European Union, we manufacture a wide range of advanced materials for use in environmental catalysts for vehicle emissions control, petroleum refining and other chemical catalysts, hybrid and electric vehicles, water purification, and a number of other applications.  We also manufacture advanced industrial materials that enable high efficiency lighting and displays, high-end optical lenses, consumer electronics, medical devices, and many others.

Neo Chemicals & Oxides (Europe) Ltd. has an immediate need for a Sales & Purchasing Administrator in its Abingdon, UK location.  This position reports to the Office & Accounts Manager.  Job responsibilities include the following:

  • Processing of all sales and purchase orders received for Neo Europe and liaise with customers/suppliers accordingly.
  • Co-ordinate and administer the shipping of the orders for the above and liaise with the factories and shipping agents where applicable.
  • Process purchase orders for stock and direct customer shipments for Neo Europe.
  • Review sales delivery reports, shipment into Holland reports, purchase order status reports from our factories and shipping agents and update relevant spreadsheets with any changes in dates, quantities, split-orders.
  • Produce & maintain various sales, purchase, stock, freight, customer order spreadsheets for key control purposes.
  • Provide cover and support for Shipping Administrator for USA, Japan, Korea, and Thailand sales and purchase ordering when required.
  • Ensure all procedures are followed and files kept up to date and in accordance with ISO9001 procedures.

Neo Rare Metals Process Operator

Neo Rare Metals is a global leader in recycling and purifying electronic metals, including gallium, indium, and related compounds and engineered materials.  Our products are used in a variety of applications from wireless technologies, LED lighting, solar power technologies, among others.

Neo Rare Metals has an immediate need for a Process Operator in its Peterborough, Ontario location. This position reports to the Production Manager.  Job responsibilities include the following:

  • Analyzing production lab (run samples on the AA, make-up standards, etc.)
  • Active involvement in the Indium purification process
  • Assist in packaging final product (must be able to lift up to 40 kg) and preparing shipments
  • Other duties (e.g. scraping filter socks to collect GaAs sludge) as assigned to assist operators if required.
 

As a candidate demonstrates positive performance and the required competencies, he/she will be trained on additional production tasks.  This is a full-time position, with an hourly wage and rotating shift schedule.
