Neo Magnequench Bonded Magnetic Powders

A Global Leader in Advanced Magnetic Materials

With over a quarter century of advanced materials manufacturing experience, Neo Magnequench is a global leader in bonded neodymium-iron-boron (NdFeB) magnetic powders, magnets, and their applications.

Our powders and magnets are used to provide high performance magnetics for automotive, factory automation, high-efficiency motors, residential appliances, and many other industries.

Our experienced materials science team designs NdFeB powders and compression molded magnets to cater to specific market needs by combining unequalled knowledge of the rapid solidification process and magnetic alloy compositions. Along with a dedicated team of applications scientists and engineers, we work closely with magnet makers to design and produce cost optimized bonded neo magnets.

Neo Magnequench Bonded Magnetic Powders & Magnets

Pushing the Boundaries of Neo Powders and Magnets

Magnequench has a low-cost manufacturing footprint in Asia with facilities in Tianjin and Chuzhou, China,  and Korat, Thailand.  These facilities are ideally located to access key raw materials and to serve our customers globally. Magnequench has more proven capacity than the rest of the industry combined. Magnequench’s bonded neo powders (MQP™) cover a wide breadth of magnetic properties and have become the standard in the industry. Magnequench’s innovation driver is our state-of-the-art technology center in Singapore. Our research scientists and process engineers continually push the boundaries of isotropic bonded neo powders.  We recently introduced our Advanced Quenching (“AQ”) technology. Our applications scientists and engineers collaborate with magnet users to model the behavior of bonded neo magnets at initial design stages. This cooperation enables magnet users to improve the application’s design for optimal cost performance

Sustainability at Neo Magnequench

Enabling Sustainability With Our Products

Neo Magnequench’s advanced magnetic materials enable and enhance sustainability and improved environmental performance in our customers’ applications. For example, our NdFeB magnetic materials help vehicles, appliances, and industrial automation systems operate more efficiently and consume less energy as a result. That helps to reduce energy consumption as well as to reduce the emission of  greenhouse gas and other air pollutants.

Producing With Sustainable Practices

Neo Magnequench also takes pride in producing our advanced magnetic materials in a manner that respect the environment and enhances sustainability. Our production facility in Tianjin, China was recently named as a “Green Factory” by the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology Association. This facility achieved this honor by implementing an array of environmental and energy management innovations, including those associated with improved energy efficiency, water and waste recycling, pollution mitigation, land use, and reductions in both energy consumption and carbon emissions per unit of product manufactured.
